Infinite Change Family Therapy Center (ICFTC) is excited to welcome Kathy Tejcka (LCSW) to our practice and announce that in addition to our in-office, in-home, in-school and/or community-based services.
At ICFTC, we believe everyone should have access to mental health services. To aid in our desire to increase the access of care for mental health services, we have added new providers, Kathy Tejcka (LCSW) and Tonya Walker (LMHP, LPC)! Kathy brings a variety of experience working with individuals and families in residential, outpatient and community-based settings. She specializes in crisis counseling and works well with those impacted by trauma, major mental illness, concerns of veterans and their families, the homeless and others experiencing/recovering from crises. Tonya is a person-centered therapist with six years experience in crisis intervention, trauma, coping strategies, individual and group counseling. All of our providers can utilize the telehealth delivery program, but Kathy and Tonya will be facilitating the majority of our Telehealth Services
Telehealth is proving to be a way to provide health services to those having trouble accessing care due to various limitations such as inadequate transportation, insufficient financial resources, health concerns, severe symptoms of mental illness, inclement weather, and especially those in rural communities where providers are scarce. Our Telehealth Services provide the same confidential, HIPPA protected, culturally sensitive, client-focused, quality care as in-person services, without allowing limitations to become barriers to care. Those seeking services need not go to a specified site to access our services. ICFTC has chosen a secure, user friendly, web-based, easily accessible telehealth format. This program is part of our HIPPA compliant electronic health record (EHR) and can be accessed by clients anywhere as long as they have an active email, an internet connection and a device with audio/video capabilities such as a smartphone or tablet.
